What to pack
Packing checklist
- Try to limit your luggage to two bags. National Express coaches from UK airports have luggage limits, and it can be difficult to carry more than two bags.
- Pack clothes for different weather conditions. The UK weather can change quickly, so bring warm clothes and clothing that can be worn in layers.
- Bring a few personal items (such as photos or small decorations) to help you feel at home in your accommodation.
- If you are bringing electrical devices (for example, a laptop, phone, or hair dryer), bring the correct plug adapter and charger. The UK uses Type G plugs and 230V electricity.
- Check with your accommodation before you travel, as some electrical appliances may not be allowed.
- Bring copies of your certificates and transcripts if you have not already sent them to us. You may need them during Welcome and Registration.
- Remember that you do not need to bring everything with you. Many everyday items can be bought locally after you arrive.
